REALLY CHILLED AND RELAXED DIVES ON PROTEA BANKS TODAY.
16 February 2019 | Protea Banks
Viz: 10-15m bottom, 5m top
Sea Temp: 22 degrees Celsius bottom, 26 degrees Celsius top.
Dive 1 - Baited Dive: As Michelle got in she had HUGE Tiger shark. However as soon as the divers tried dropped it dashed off into the distance. A Round Ribbontail ray popped in to say hi then made his way back down to the reef. For the rest of the dive we had 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks joining us every now and then.
Dive 2 - Northern Pinnacle: We got to the first cave we had a Ragged Tooth shark just chilling around. Mid-water we had 1 Potato bass and swimming just below us we had a Round Ribbontail ray. Lots of Rainbow Runners and jellyfishes.
Dolphins seen from the boat.
