A WALL OF RAGGED-TOOTH SHARKS ... EPIC!!!!!

Viz: 5m ... sad face
Sea Temp: 20 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles: HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of Ragged-tooth sharks ... as far as you could see, they were stacked like a wall ... WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!. Lots of reef fish around but hard to see because of viz. When divers surfaced they had Dolphins and a Bull (Zambezi) shark swimming with them on the surface. Humpback Whales also seen from the boat. Viz bad but epic, memorable diving!!!!!!

Current: reverse, pulling inshore
Viz: clear at bottom but very milky mid water
Sea Temp: 25 degrees Celsius near surface but freezing at bottom

Southern Pinnacles: With the current pulling inshore and reverse, we just managed to stay on the reef. Saw 1 Round Ribbontail Ray and reef alive with your smaller reef fish. 1 Remora and lots of Plankton mid water. We got wet, let just leave it there ...

A GREAT MIXTURE OF SHARKS!!

Viz: 15m+ at the bottom, lots of Plankton mid water and greenish
Sea Temp: 20 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles: 4 Ragged-tooth sharks. At least 2 Bull (Zambezi) sharks. About 3 Oceanic Blacktip sharks popping in and out of the dive. A couple of Remora's. 3 Nudibranchs lol ... even Diks was taking photo's of the epic white one. Wind picked up but nice to be in the water. 1 Humpback Whale very close to the boat on the way back from the dive.

LIKE A BAITED DIVE ... WITHOUT THE BAIT! SHARKS EVERYWHERE!

Sea Temp: 19 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles: 30 Ragged-tooth sharks at least around the caves. From 20m upwards at least 2 cheeky Bull (Zambezi) sharks and about 7 Oceanic Blacktip sharks that stayed with divers all the way up. All your normal reef fish. A lot of 'jellies'. Excellent shark diving. Sea rough but well worth a day out.

Viz: 25m at the bottom, a bit dirty for the first 10m or so
Sea Temp: 20 degrees Celsius 

Northern Pinnacles: At least 45 Ragged-tooth sharks. 4 sightings of Bull (Zambezi) sharks and about 8 sightings of Oceanic Blacktip sharks. 2 Potato Bass. Lots of reef fish. Stunning dive!

Sea Temp: 21 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles: At least 30 Ragged-tooth sharks. 1 Bull (Zambezi) shark. 7 Oceanic Blacktip sharks popping in and out on the dive. 1 Brindle Bass. Big, big shoal of Bonito. Also lots of reef fish.

Humpback Whales and Dolphins seen from the boat. The sea was a bit rough but the dive was definitely worthwhile. AWESOME to be in the water!

Southern Pinnacles: Lets just say we dived. Reverse current and some reef. So much Plankton looked like it was snowing! ... and that was it ...

DIVE 2 - Southern Pinnacles: A Potato Bass and lots of reef fish.

No sharks today ... sad face.

DIVE 1 - Northern Pinnacles: 2 Potato Bass. HUGE shoals of gamefish all over - pretty EPIC.  Lots of reef fish. 

DIVE 2 - Northern Pinnacles: 1 Oceanic Blacktip shark. Lots of gamefish and reef fish - Awesome!!!

The viz had cleared up and the water was warm. GREAT DIVING TODAY!!!!

Southern Pinnacles: A Hammerhead shark and a Round Ribbontail Ray. So nice to see 2 Turtles. Lots of reef fish.

Southern Pinnacles: 7 Guitar sharks, 2 Round Ribbontail Rays and 1 Brindle Bass. A HUGE shoal of Kingfish and lots of reef fish. Dolphins and a Marlin seen from the boat.

DIVE 1 - Northern Pinnacles: Whoop, whoop a MARLIN today. Also a Potato Bass and lots of reef fish.

DIVE 2 - Southern Pinnacles - THE ARCH: A Great Hammerhead shark, 1 Oceanic Blacktip shark and 7 Guitar sharks. Pretty dive.

Northern Pinnacles: WOW! WOW! WOW! More than 40 Ragged-tooth sharks seen throughout the dive. 2 Bull (Zambezi) sharks and 4 Oceanic Blacktip sharks. 2 Potato Bass and lots of reef fish!!!! GREAT DIVE!!!!!!!

Viz: 10m - very 'snowy', lots of Plankton
Sea Temp: 24 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles: 1 Oceanic Blacktip shark that popped in mid water. 3 Potato Bass. A few Round Ribbontail Rays. Not many fish today, but good to be in the water again after an extended break ... and still NO FLIPPIN MARLIN ON KYM'S DIVE.

Viz: 5 - 8m at the bottom, 10 - 15m mid water
Sea Temp: 22 degrees Celsius - patchy warm and cold

Northern Pinnacles: So I would love to tell you what a fab dive we had ... but the truth is all we saw was lots of water, 2 little fish on the safety stop and a Potato Bass. Hope you are all jealous ... when last did you see two small fish on your safety stop on Protea Banks ... Lol.

Viz: 8m at the bottom, 10 - 15m mid water - viz improving
Sea Temp: 22 degrees Celsius - patchy warm and cold

Southern Pinnacles: Lots of reef fish today, all seen very quickly as current was strong. No big stuff, but water was flat and it was really nice just to be in the water. We say goodbye to 'unlucky Brian' so you know what that means ... sharks will be back on Protea Banks from tomorrow!

Northern Pinnacles: At least 30 Ragged-tooth sharks seen throughout the dive. Also 3 Bull (Zambezi) sharks. A Potato Bass and lots of reef fish!!!! AMAZING DIVE!!!!!!!

BAITED SHARK DIVE with 'FAMILY' today!!

BAITED SHARK DIVE: Had 7 Oceanic Blacktip sharks and 1 Bull (Zambezi) shark - non stop action. Also a rainbow runner .. lol. Lots of 'jellies' around.

On the way back a baby Humpback Whale breached right in front of us ... INCREDIBLE. Lots of other Humpback Whales around.

Nice to have 'my family' together today ... big smile.

Sea flat, sea warm, sea clean ... EPIC day!!!! All in all, the perfect day out at sea.

4 species of SHARKS, including HAMMERHEADS ... WHOOP! WHOOP!!!

Viz: 10 - 15m
Sea Temp: 21 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles (La la land): At least 5 Bull (Zambezi) sharks in and out throughout the dive. 2 Ragged-tooth sharks. 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks. 2 Potato Bass and a Musselcracker. Shoaling juvenile Rainbow Runners. Plenty of False Fusiliers. Lots of other reef fish. And then to end off a great dive we had 2 HAMMERHEAD sharks pop in to say Hi on the safety stop.

The sea was flat with Humpback Whales seen from the boat. All in all, the perfect day out at sea.
