Lots of ‘jellies’ on the dives – one that looked like a Dolphin – VERY CUTE!!!

2 February 2013 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: very strong – the ‘Protea Express’
Viz: 15m, lots of ‘jellies’ in the water
Sea Temp: 24 degrees Celsius

DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles: 1 Oceanic Blacktip shark on the safety stop, it came in for several visits – very nice!!! Lots of Tuna on the Southern Pinnacle. Saw a Lionfish, something I have not seen on Protea for a while. Lots of other reef and gamefish, but saw everything very quickly due to current.

DIVE 2 – Northern Pinnacles: 1 Potato Bass. Cape Knifejaw. Tropical Amberjack. Lots of Natal Fingerfin. Shoaling Fusiliers. Lots of reef fish. Very pretty, but again saw all very quickly due to current.

Lots of ‘jellies’ on the dives – one that looked like a Dolphin – VERY CUTE!!!
