10 July 2015 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: mild
Viz: 20m
Sea Temp: 21 degrees Celsius

DIVE 1 – Northern Pinnacle: Even before we got to the cave there were Ragged-tooth sharks everywhere. Got to the first cave and well over 30 Ragged-tooth sharks inside. Also 1 Potato Bass at the bottom. Some Kingfish and lots of reef fish. Mid water we had 5 Oceanic Blacktip sharks and 2 Zambezi (Bull) sharks.

A few Humpback Whales on they back.

DIVE 2 – Northern Pinnacle: On the way down we had a Zambezi (Bull) shark and an Oceanic Blacktip shark. We got to the bottom and it looked like the sea floor was moving with all the Ragged-tooth sharks. On the way to the cave we had a TIGER shark, 3 Zambezi (Bull) sharks and an Oceanic Blacktip sharks.(It seems like the curse of Bradley James has been broken … TIGERS, TIGERS EVERYWHERE NOW). The cave was overflowing with Ragged-tooth sharks. On the way up we had 2 Potato Bass. Mid water a Hammerhead shark. Also at least 2 Zambezi (Bull) sharks and 4 oceanic Blacktip sharks.

A great day on Protea Banks.

Oh and by the way I have heard that next time Bradley James is down we will be holding a sexy legs competition …
