DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles: Another great dive. There are still lots and lots of Ragged-tooth sharks swimming around mid water on the Southern Pinnacles which I find rather bizarre … but hey always good to see something different. A few Dusky sharks darting in and out. Also a Brindle Bass and a Potato Bass. 2 Round Ribbontail Rays. Also my favourite A PUFFERFISH … whoop, whoop!! The reef is still so full of gamefish and reef fish – awesome. Lots of jellies around. A REALLY GOOD DIVE!!!
DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacles: The viz was reduced a lot compared to the first dive but still lots of Ragged-tooth sharks to be seen. 1 Potato Bass. 1 Round Ribbontail Ray and a small Black Spotted Electric Ray. Lots of gamefish and reef fish. So many Trigger fish. Lots of jellies around including the one that I love that looks like a Dolphin.
So many Humpback Whales today seen breaching, the sea was alive and we also saw Dolphins. Dolphins and Whales were also clearly heard underwater.
It is Phil’s last day … sad face (Going to miss him like crazy!! – If you ever get a chance to dive with him, trust me, take it – it is out of this world! – Google ‘MrSHARKDIVER’) … hopefully we will see him soon again with Jim …
