Current: mild
Viz: 8 – 10m, water full of Plankton, which reduced viz
Sea Temp: 21 degrees Celsius
DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles (THE ARCH): 1 Ragged-tooth shark, 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks, 1 HUGE Tomato Rockcod. Blacktip Kingfish. Lots of Trigger fish. A variety of Butterfly fish. Nice relaxed dive!
DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacles: About 70 SHOALING DUSKY sharks, coming right through the divers, what an incredible sight. At least 5 Oceanic Blacktip sharks. 2 Bull (Zambezi) sharks. Another 3 Dusky sharks following the divers up and hanging around on the safety stop. Lots of Trigger fish and lots of reef fish. Kept busy looking at sharks as we had non stop action from beginning to end.
Lots of Humpback Whales seen today from the boat. Also two pods of Dolphins seen. Tuna also jumping out the water and with the sea looking like glass, who would not want to be on the dive.
