STUNNING VIZ ON PROTEA BANKS!

14 December 2015 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: mild
Viz: 20m++
Sea Temp: 23 degrees Celsius

Southern Pinnacle: As we dropped into the water, it was so warm and clean. It was a nice relaxed dive as there was not much current. On the bottom there were the usual reef fish including a Tiger Angel fish and Clown Triggerfish. We also had a Zambezi (Bull) shark and Round Ribbontail Ray. A BIG shoal of Bigeye Kingfish also came past.

In midwater although the viz was amazing, it was pretty non eventful so we had time to look at some interesting Plankton.

A ‘lost’ Humpback Whale also seen by Jaco from the boat.
