DIVE 1 – Baited Shark Dive: As we got into the water it was busy with Oceanic Blacktip sharks introducing themselves … up to 7 new smiley faces. As we started settling into the dive, we looked below us and we had 2 Zambezi (Bull) sharks just circling below … and then another 2 joined them. They really must have been inquisitive bolting in and out between the diver showing off their strong physique . It was so amazing to see them up so close again … awesome experience yet again.
DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacles: Dropped into the water and it was that blue, blue water … so pretty. We then got introduced to our very own tour guide of Protea Banks … it was an Oceanic Blacktip shark – it took us for our very own tour on Southern’ s. Got down to the reef we had 2 Potato Bass. Then passing us by was shoaling Bigeye Kingfish. Passing over Sand Shark Gully we had 2 Guitar Sharks and one HUGE Zambezi (Bull) shark underneath us. Still by our side was the Oceanic Blacktip shark. Sadly this was our dive coming to an end and so we had to say our good-bye on the safety stop.
DIVE 3 – Southern Pinnacles: As we got onto the reef we had 2 Potato Bass and so many more shoaling Bigeye Kingfish. We were just cruising over Sandshark Gully and 4 Guitar Sharks caught our attention. Once the Guitar Sharks caught our attention someone got jealous … a Zambezi (Bull) shark also wants some attention and we had a small Oceanic Blacktip shark saying hello as well.
