100’s and 100’s of game fish …

3 December 2012 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: mild
Viz: 3m at top, 15m+ from mid water down to bottom
Sea Temp: 18 to 21 degrees Celsius

Northern Pinnacles: Dropped into very bad viz (3m!!!), but it opened up from about 25m so we could see a lot of the reef with plenty of fish hanging around. Drifted over the canyon area of the reef. Had shoaling Tuna and Kingfish to name a few. (100’s!!) Absolutely amazing to have so many big, friendly game fish enjoying our company. Also had 2 Potato Bass … one very curious one! No sharks, but the beauty of the reef made up for it. Really stunning dive.
