Current: very strong
Viz: 30m
Sea Temp: 24 degrees Celsius
Southern Pinnacle: 50 minutes of ‘amazingness’. As we dropped in we could already see the reef. As we hit the bottom we had a Zambezi (Bull) shark and then another one and then an Oceanic Blacktip shark, and the action did not stop. The Southern Pinnacle was alive, a Potato Bass, shoaling Kingfish and loads of reef fish. On Sand Shark Gully we had a Round Ribbontail Ray, when we looked up we had 100’s and 1000’s of shoaling Hammerhead sharks, when we looked down we had a mixture of Zambezi (Bull) and Oceanic Blacktip sharks and I am sure a few Dusky sharks as well – IT WAS INSANE and that was pretty much the rest of the dive, looking up or to the side, Hammerhead sharks and looking down more Zambezi and Oceanic Blacktip sharks … woohooo. Also another HUGE shoal of Kingfish. Just to round it off we had a Copper shark on the safety stop. WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW!!
We also saw Dolphins and Flying fish from the boat.
OH my golly gosh what a dive!!!!!!!!!!
