DIVE 1 – Northern Pinnacle: Before we even reached the caves we saw 2 Ragged Tooth Sharks. While the caves were shy of sharks, we did encounter 2 Zambezi (Bull) Sharks as we started heading towards mid-water. While this was happening we also had 4 Oceanic Blacktip Sharks coming and going during the dive. To top it all off we encountered a shoal of about 50 Hammerhead Sharks swimming passed us at about 10 metres. Incredible dive!

DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacle: As we got in we saw an Oceanic Blacktip Shark, and as we reached the bottom we saw a Ragged Tooth Shark. Once we started to multi-level is when the fun really started. Shoaling Hammerhead Sharks were everywhere, but not to be outdone, some Oceanic Blacktip Sharks swam around us for awhile. We then encountered more Hammerheads, and then more Hammerheads, and then a few more. Oh, and just before we got out the water, we were joined by a Zambezi (Bull) Shark. An amazing dive on Protea Banks! We also saw lots of game and reef fish, just to put the cherry on top.

Whales and Flying Fish seen from the boat.
