23 July 2013 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: medium
Viz: 10 – 15m
Sea Temp: 21 degrees Celsius

DIVE 1 – Northern Pinnacles: About 10-15 Ragged-tooth sharks. 2 Bull (Zambezi) sharks and 4 Oceanic Blacktip sharks. Bonito. School of red eye sardine. Reef alive with reef fish and symphony of Whale songs through the entire dive.

Humpback Whales also seen from the boat swimming close to the boat and breaching in the distance, simply beautiful but the best is yet to come …

DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacles: A big Dusky shark and an Oceanic Blacktip shark swimming along the reef. 1 Bull (Zambezi) shark and reef alive with fish. The divers were treated to a once in a lifetime experience. They were joined by 2 HUMPBACK WHALES that stayed and played with them all the way to the safety stop (more than 30 minutes of interaction). 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks were also swimming under the Humpback Whales. CRAZY! MIND BLOWING! THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!!

Just to top off the most perfect day divers had hunting Tuna seen from the boat.
