DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles: Started off the dive with vibrant coloured reef fish as far as one could see. Spotted a MASSIVE Potato Bass!! We had a few Oceanic Blacktips swimming in and disappearing, as well as 2 or 3 Zambezi (Bull) Sharks. We encountered a pod of Dolphins that swam through about 10m in front of us, what a beautiful sight! Ending off our dive, whilst listening to the Whales communicating from a distance, a spotted Eagle Ray cruised along the reef underneath us as well as a Greater Hammerhead Shark! Surface Interval – we had a Pod of Dolphins swim past the boat, as well as seeing Whales breach at least 4 times!!
DIVE 2 – Northern Pinacles: Started off with seeing 3 Ragged-tooth Sharks lazing about the reef until we hit the reef’s cave where one could count over 30 Ragged-tooth Sharks. Again we had a few Oceanic Blacktip sharks swimming in and out with one or two Zambezi (Bull) Sharks joining them. We had over 20 Remoras being nuisances, and as expected with the Remoras, we had 3 Zambezi (bull) Sharks and 5 Oceanic Blacktip Sharks stick around until we ended the dive.
