Current: mild, reverse pulling inshore
Viz: 8 – 15m
Sea Temp: 21 degrees Celsius
DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles: 2 Ragged-tooth sharks. 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks. 1 Round Ribbontail Ray. 1 Potato Bass. Lots and lots of Plankton so viz was not that great. Lots of reef fish.
DIVE 2 – Northern Pinnacles: Where do I start?? The viz had improved a lot. As we dropped we had 3 Zambezi (Bull) sharks and an Oceanic Blacktip shark. Got down between the two caves and followed a line of Ragged-tooth sharks to the first cave. On the way I saw a TIGER SHARK in the distance. The first cave was overflowing with Ragged-tooth sharks, 40 to 50 of them. Collected same teeth on the side and as we looked up A TIGER SHARK, whoop, whoop!!! Also a Potato Bass and some Kingfish darting around. On the way up it was just like a baited shark dive with at least 4 Zambezi (Bull) and 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks popping in and out. WHAT AN ACTION PACKED DIVE!!! WHOOP, WHOOP!!!
