DIVE 1 – BAITED SHARK DIVE: Dive started off with a psycho Potato Bass that stole our bait … lol. Then a psycho Remora that got fatter and fatter as we watched him devour bits of sardines. The sharks then started coming in. At first 2 Oceanic Blacktip sharks and then the Bull (Zambezi) sharks. Full on action with Oceanic Blacktip and Bull (Zambezi) sharks in and out for the entire dive. We had at least 4 Bull (Zambezi) sharks and 8 Oceanic Blacktip sharks on the dive …. WOW an absolutely stunning dive!!!!!!
DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacles: As we got to the bottom we had an Eagle Ray. Then some Oceanic Blacktip action. Also a Round Ribbontail Ray. The some more Oceanic Blacktip and Bull (Zambezi) shark action – did not know where to look first. The one Bull (Zambezi) shark was MASSIVE!!!! As we hit Sand Shark Gully we spotted at least 5 Guitar sharks. Coming up the Bull (Zambezi) sharks were our friends following us up the entire way – awesome stuff!!!!!! The reef was also alive with all the normal reef fish but we also had big shoals of Kingfish, Tuna and Bonito. What a fantastic non-stop action packed dive. WHOOP, WHOOP, can’t wait for tomorrow!!!
