RAGGIES’ ON BOTH NORTHERNS AND SOUTHERNS … AND MORE ON PROTEA BANKS TODAY, WITH MIGGIE GETTING HIS BUOY LINE STOLEN BY A SHARK!!!

25 May 2016 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: mild, reverse
Viz: 10m
Sea Temp: 22 degrees Celsius

DIVE 1 – Northern Pinnacle: Nice chilled dive. The current was reverse but we got to see loads of Ragged-tooth sharks on the bottom. Coming into mid water we had 3 sightings of Bull (Zambezi) sharks. Really chilled.

DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacle: Southerns was mad today. As we got to the bottom we could barely see each other for all the fish – Kingfish, Rainbow Runners, Jobfish, Amberjacks and more. The reef was covered with Ragged-tooth sharks, with an Oceanic Blacktip shark circling above. MIGGIE … got his buoy line stolen by a Ragged-tooth shark lol … see footage thanks Iain Leighton. Mid water was nuts with Zambezi (Bull) and Oceanic Blacktip sharks darting in and out. WHAT AN EPIC ACTION PACKED DIVE, FROM BEGINNING TO END!!!!
