TODAY THE DIVE ON PROTEA BANKS WAS ABOUT QUALITY NOT QUANTITY … LOL!!!

3 January 2016 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: ‘Protea Express’, (drifted 11km on the baited)
Viz: 20m (water clean but milky)
Sea Temp: 24 degrees Celsius

BAITED SHARK DIVE: We got into the water quickly as the divers were feeling a bit sea sick, so we did not do much pre-baiting. It took awhile for some action. At first a few Tuna flying by and lots of Plankton to keep us busy. And then the BIGGEST Zambezi (Bull) shark came in and dominated the dive. It was actually great just to see one shark on the dive as we really got to take notice of the sharks behavior. Well worth a dive!

Flying Fish seen from the boat.
