DIVE 1 – BAITED SHARK DIVE: Right in the beginning of the dive we had a Tiger Sharks chewing on the drum for about two minutes and then it swam off. The rest of the dive started off slow with a few Oceanic Blacktip sharks popping in and out. After a while it picked up and we had in total 15 Oceanic Blacktip sharks and 2 Zambezi (Bull) sharks keeping us busy for the rest of the dive. We also had a shoal of about 30 Hammerhead sharks pass by!!!!!! CRAZY DIVE!!!! Also a proposal on the baited and she said yes … congratulations to Jesse Daniels and Stephanie … we wish you lots of love and happiness. x
DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacle: As we got down we had 5 Eagle Rays. It was quiet for awhile but lots of reef fish around and 4 Huge Rainbow Runners. We then had a Zambezi (Bull) shark and an Oceanic Blacktip shark. Then Protea Banks went wild. Hammerheads spotted, Oceanic Blacktip sharks spotted, Zambezi (Bull) sharks spotted – non stop action for about 40 minutes, and to top it off a shoal of about 50 Hammerhead sharks … wooooohooo. Dolphins and Whales could also be heard on the dive. Rough seas … but stunning underneath.
