DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles: AN UNBELIEVABLE, ONCE IN A LIFETIME DIVE!!!!!! Dive started with 2 Hammerhead sharks. Then we were entertained by a Potato Bass and a ‘baby’ Marbled Electric Ray. Before we could spend some time with them we saw a TIGER SHARK – AWESOME!!!!! … and then just when we thought it could not get any better, 2 Humpback Whales dropped down to 20m to say Hi, did a twirl for us underwater and then disappeared – INCREDIBLE SIGHT!!!!! … and then an Oceanic Blacktip shark appeared … talk about swimming around in different directions. We finally had time to catch our breaths and then saw another Oceanic Blacktip shark. All went quiet for a while and then just to top an AMAZING dive off, we had more than 100 Hammerhead sharks come past on our safety stop. Suresh, even decided it was a dive worth logging and I am sure spent the rest of the afternoon dusting off his logbook … which he has not used in ages … lol!!!
DIVE 2 – Southern Pinnacles: The reef was alive with reef fish, felt like an aquarium dive. Oceanic Blacktip sharks, popped in and of of the dive for most of the dive. Unfortunately the viz was not as great as the first dive, but still very good, just a bit milky.
Thanks to all for an INCREDIBLE day of diving!!!!!!
