ZAM’S (BULL SHARKS) ON BOTH DIVES TODAY!!!

9 February 2015 | PROTEA BANKS

Current: strong
Viz: 10 to 15m, dirtier at bottom
Sea Temp: 24 degrees Celsius near surface, 20 degrees Celsius on bottom

DIVE 1 – Southern Pinnacles: Reef was alive again with lots of reef and gamefish. Also a Potato Bass. Then 1 Zambezi (Bull) shark seen off Sand Shark Gully briefly. From mid water to the end of the time we had at least 3 different Zambezi (Bull) sharks popping in and out of the dive for about 30 minutes. Awesome stuff!!

DIVE 2 – Northern Pinnacles: Current had picked up but still pretty with a lot of reef fish around. Also saw a Round Ribbontail Ray. 1 Potato Bass. In mid water we had an Oceanic Blacktip and Zambezi (Bull) shark popping in and out.

A good day of diving!
