Qualification – Advanced and Above

As our reef dive is a deep dive, and Advanced Certification is Required. These are the following rates for dives on Protea Banks.

RATES – 2023

  • Reef Dive including Cylinder R900.00 per person
  • Baited Shark Dive including Cylinder R1950.00 per person
  • Full Equipment Hire R500.00 per day
  • Single Item Hire R100.00 per day
  • MPA Permit R100.00 valid for a month
  • Nitrox fill R150.00 per dive
  • Dive assistant R350.00 per dive

It is highly recommended to book Nitrox for the reef dives as this will maximize your bottom time, allowing for more opportunity to see more.

Qualification – Open water

Our Baited Shark Dives are done at a max depth of 15 meters, so and Open water qualification would be sufficient. However the reef dives are deep dives and we can offer the following options:

RATES – 2023

  • Baited Shark Dive including Cylinder R1950.00 per person per dive
  • Adventures in Deep (incl. equipment and instructor) R1500.00 per person per dive
  • Full Equipment Hire R500.00 per day
  • Single Item Hire R100.00 per day
  • MPA Permit R100.00 valid for a month
  • Advanced Course (5-6 Dives) R6800.00 per course

NO DIVE QUALIFICATION

For someone looking for a one-time experience and not holding a qualification, we can offer the following options:

RATES – 2023

  • Tidal Pool Dive R500.00 per person per dive
  • Baited Shark Snorkeling R1500.00 per person per dive
  • Baited Shark Dive (Try Dive) R2500.00 per person per dive
  • Photos (with copyright claims) R300.00 per dive
